Eight Major League players will battle it out for bragging rights and a hefty monetary prize which will be provided by Major League Baseball (MLB) and its partners: T-Mobile, Mercedez Benz, Highmark Health and Procter & Gamble’s Gillette brand among others.
The competition will include three rounds of three minutes each with frequent interruptions to swap hitters or adjust pitching machine settings until one player remains as champion at the end of two full rounds – Round One: Four players defeat four opponents; Round Two: Two players go head to head; Final Round: Against wincer from previous round. The competitor with the most home runs at the end of every round or at any point if time expires will advance to next round or become winner depending on competition format structure.
Futures Game
The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, and one of the events that get fans going before the actual game is the Futures Game. This event takes place a day before the actual All-Star Game, and serves as a showcase for some of baseball’s future stars. For 2021, the fan vote consists of 53 players across 36 individual teams between both leagues—American League (AL) and National League (NL).
